La Jolla Parks and Beaches, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public benefit corporation that preserves, protects, and enhances the parks, beaches, other recreational resources, open spaces and coastal accesses within an area generally located in the Village of La Jolla, California, extending south to and including the Bird Rock neighborhoods.

Our organization relies upon active involvement by its board and community members to spearhead projects which improve the experience in the parks and beaches within our area for residents and visitors, and to respond to community concerns and requests. Comprised of a board of volunteers who live or work in the area of its responsibility.

LJPB is an advocate on behalf of the community to the City of San Diego.

Parks and Recreation Department within its designated area, which excludes La Jolla Shores and the La Jolla Community Park/La Jolla Recreation Center.
