After years of red tape and multiple permits and approvals, the Bottom Scratchers will be permanently honored, recognized and memorialized with this one-ton boulder and plaque. They were incredible watermen and innovators, as well as stewards of the ocean.

It will be installed and unveiled in a very visually pleasing location by Boomer Beach/ La Jolla Cove at Scripps Park on Friday May 10 @ 5:30pm. All are welcome!
