La Jolla Parks and Beaches, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit public benefit corporation that preserves, protects, and enhances the parks, beaches, other recreational resources, open spaces, and coastal accesses within an area generally located in the shoreline area of the community of La Jolla.

The organization relies upon active involvement by its board and community members to spearhead projects which improve the experience in the parks and beaches within our area for residents and visitors, and to respond to community concerns and requests. We are comprised of a board of volunteers who live or work or recreate in the area.

La Jolla Parks and Beaches, Inc. (LJPB) primary purpose is to work in partnership with the community and coastal stakeholders to ensure the sustainability and accessibility and enjoyment of the City of San Diego’s shoreline through fundraising; priority park improvements, volunteerism; and resident, visitor, and tourist experience.
