LA JOLLA BIKE RACKS DEPLOYMENT PROJECT
BIKE RACK OR ART INSTALLATION – YOU DECIDE!
La Jolla Parks and Beaches has embraced the city Climate Action Plan and the Master Bicycle Plan by introducing new “La Jolla” branded bike racks along the coast. Joining together with the La Jolla Village Merchants Association, the La Jolla Traffic and Transportation Board, the La Jolla Community Foundation, and the San Diego Transportation and Traffic Department we are embarking on a project to bring these beautiful bike racks into the village to provide designated locations for bikes and scooters.
Shout- out to San Diego Fly Rides on Girard Avenue who immediately jumped on board by donating a potion of each bike sold in November 2018 to this project – thank you Fly Riders!
