Windansea Belvedere in La Jolla, California

After many years, the Windansea Beach Slop Protect and Belvedere Replacement project has been approved.

The project has been in the works for several years, with approvals from various community planning groups, the city, and the Coastal Commission. But we need your help.

The city has allowed us to put a limited number memorable bronze plaques on the stairways and its is a first come, first served …

PURPOSE

La Jolla Parks and Beaches, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit public benefit corporation (Tax ID#: 45-3281923) that preserves, protects, and enhances the parks, beaches, other recreational resources, open spaces and coastal accesses within an area generally located in the Village of La Jolla, California, extending south to and including the Bird Rock neighborhoods..

The organization relies upon active involvement by its board and community members to spearhead projects which improve the experience in the parks and beaches within our area for residents and visitors, and to respond to community concerns and requests. We are comprised of a board of volunteers who live or work or recreate in the area.

La Jolla Parks & Beaches, Inc. is a recognized advocate of the community’s shoreline parks and beaches to the City of San Diego, the Parks & Recreation Department, and Council District #1.

Please consider donating to one of our projects, or our general purpose fund. We are a 100% volunteer operated organization, and close to 97% of donated funds go directly to the projects. Funding from donors helps support restoration projects, environmental clean up, and other worthy community and shoreline projects.
