Windansea Beach is more than a beautiful stretch of coastline in La Jolla. It is a historic gathering place, a legendary Southern California surf break, and an important part of San Diego’s cultural and community heritage.

For generations, residents, surfers, families, photographers, and visitors have come to Windansea to experience its powerful waves, rugged shoreline, and unique character. The historic palm-covered Surf Shack has become one of the most recognizable symbols of Windansea and its long surfing tradition.

This campaign is being created to raise awareness and encourage donations supporting the preservation, stewardship, restoration, environmental cleanup, and community shoreline projects connected with Friends of Windansea and  La Jolla’s Parks and Beaches.
